From getting lost on the wrong tram platform (TWICE), to bonding with strangers and screaming my lungs out during the show. Here's how a misadventure turned into a highlight of my year. 💙
I got ready around 2 PM for the Billie Eilish concert in Hannover, feeling calm and excited. With warm weather in mind, I packed a bottle of water and wore a simple but cute concert outfit which was "lovely"-era coded.
In Hannover, I was greeted by rain instead of sun and headed underground for the tram. I saw a girl who looked like she'd be going to the concert as well, so I asked her if we were on the right side. She said yes and then disappeared. I guess we were on the wrong side. 🥲 I called my friend, who used to live in Hannover and he helped me get on track. After a stop at the wrong destination I had to call him AGAIN, took another tram, and after a bit of walking, I finally made it to ZAG Arena around 6:30 PM.
Inside I bought something to drink and a necklace and got to my seat. Billie finally came on and the show was magical. I danced, screamed, and sang so loud!
Going alone was scary at first, but in the end? Total freedom, great people, and a little bit of self growth. I'd 100% do it all again. 💙
As for designfreaks; we have been doing a lot lately. After our little unintended hiatus in March, we had been thriving and coding a lot in April! We still have more ideas and a lot of motivation, so we'll see what's coming next. ☺️ Oh and Nick gave the downloads overview a glow-up. Now the HTML and PHP sections show more details about what you're downloading.
Oh, and we've also simplified our Terms! Previously, attribution was mandatory for some content and optional for others, which was a bit confusing. But hey, if you've been using our content and haven't added us to the credits yet, don't worry – it's not a big deal, but we'd really appreciate it if you could update it when you get a chance. ✨🥹
