september was... pretty quiet for both of us. but we're back (well, at least with a new blog post)!

danny's already knee-deep in birthday planning because he turns 30 on october 31st (halloween baby 🎃). and since he keeps saying he'll never have a wedding (his words, not mine), this party is basically gonna be it: photo booth, guestbook, candy bar, all the extras. honestly love how hyped he is about it already.

my september on the other hand? felt like it was moving in slow motion. might've taken "wake me up when september ends" way too literally. BUT, we've also been working on the advent calendar, so it's not like nothing's happening. promise!

also, my sister's dog has been here for the past week and she and my own dog are finally clicking. took them a while because they're both anxious, but now they just play nonstop. it's the sweetest thing to watch. pretty sure they're gonna be sad once she goes back home on sunday.

and having her here gave me a chance to work on some of my own dog's fears too. she's scared of kids and random outside noises (but fireworks? no problem somehow). progress is... let's call it hit or miss.

october already feels like it's gonna be a whole different mood.
