September was... pretty quiet for both of us. But we're back (well, at least with a new blog post)!

Danny's already knee-deep in birthday planning because he turns 30 on October 31st (Halloween baby 🎃). And since he keeps saying he'll never have a wedding (his words, not mine), this party is basically gonna be it: photo booth, guestbook, candy bar, all the extras. Honestly love how hyped he is about it already, it's so adorable. 🥹

My September on the other hand? Felt like it was moving in slow motion. Super low energy, basically on airplane mode. Might've taken "wake me up when September ends" way too literally, lmao. But that's fine, sometimes you just need that. We're always either in full hyperfixation mode posting daily or in the opposite phase where we only do the bare minimum. Right now we're kinda in between, but we've also been sneaky working on the advent calendar, so it's not like nothing's happening. Promise!

Also, my sister's dog has been here for the past week and she and my own dog are finally clicking. Took them a while because they're both anxious, but now they just play nonstop. It's honestly the sweetest thing to watch. ✨ Pretty sure they're gonna be sad once she goes back home on Sunday.

And having her here gave me a chance to work on some of my own dog's fears too. She's scared of kids and random outside noises (but fireworks? no problem somehow). Progress is... let's call it hit or miss. It's tiring, both mentally and physically, but still nice seeing little improvements. 🫠

So yeah, September was slower, a bit draining. October already feels like it's gonna be a whole different mood.

We're obviously loving spooky season right now, but we're also lowkey excited to show you the Christmas theme next month. Curious what you'll think. ✨

Oh, and a quick side note: our friend Fey started a new collective for their fanlistings and I made a little script for them to run it. I originally coded it just for them, and the version they're using is basically tailor-made for their setup. I'm not planning to work on making it public anytime soon (life's a bit hectic with birthdays, Christmas prep, my dog, etc.), but I'd love to know if there's even any interest before I touch it again. Would you guys be into something like that? 👀
