tut on how to add comments to the new skins. I'm using one but I edited a bit to fit my site. but I would like to know how to make comments for posts.

hi salya! the news skins are simple html designs, so a tutorial on adding comments would be tricky (though you could integrate disqus or something similar, but that's probably not what you're looking for). blogify doesn't support comments right now, since it's designed to be a lightweight, simple system for small sites and blogs. it's possible we'll develop another news system with more features in the future, but we don't have a timeline for that yet. 🥹

I would love to see more status.cafe layouts, because there are very few resources for it online ❤️ I was really happy to find that you guys have made one already and would love to see more, because your designs are so lovely!

sadly, the (one) status.cafe layout we made was more of an experiment to see how much demand there was, and we've decided not to make more. especially since status.cafe had serious security issues, javascript worms and other nasty stuff (it kept re-infecting danny's profile and took them 2 years to fix…). so tl;dr, sorry to disappoint, but we probably won't be creating more 🥹. we really appreciate that you enjoy our other designs though! <3

I love your Blogify Newsscript! Although.... is there a possibility to add a tutorial on how to add/implement an icon function into the script that we could add into the apparance style?

aw, thank you <3 a tutorial would've been tricky, but I just released an update! now you can upload an image when writing a post or set a default in the "appearance" area c:

just replace blogify.php and blogify_posts.php, then update your login details at the top of blogify.php again. if you've made other changes (like the news skin), it should be fine—just remember to add the {image} shortcode in the "appearance" area yourself! xoxo
